Fast Save - Great for Scanning Several Photos
The fast save feature is located in the Editor and will help you quickly save photos without
the fuss and bother of a file save box and naming each file as you save them.
To access this feature, do the following:
- Load the Editor
- Click the hammer on the toolbar (Preferences)
- Look in the toolBar tab
- Place a checkmark in front of Fast Save
At this point, a new button will have appeared on the toolbar:
- Close Preferences
- Look in the File menu and select: Fast Save Setup
- A window will appear that will allow you to specify where to save the photos and how they
should be named.
Now, whenever you click the Fast Save button on the toolbar, the currently displayed image will be
automatically saved in the folder specified with a base name plus a sequential number,
(similar to the Batch Rename function).
This feature is especially useful when scanning photos.
Scan the Photo, crop if necessary, and then click the Fast Save button.
Repeat
It's as simple as that.
When you're done scanning, you can simply view your photos and rename them as necessary, using
PhotoELF's rename functions.
